The informatization of processes is a growing trend in all areas of society. The Brazilian army, in turn, has stimulated this with the aim at the gain in efficiency of its military. The process of accounting for termination of duty is part of a range of administrative processes and aims to return to the treasury amounts wrongly received by some of its members. This paper aims to understand the current legislation and to deepen the knowledge acquired in the course to apply them in the development of a system that reduces the execution time, store process data and minimize the chance of errors. This need is related to the increase in the number of processes generated by the Brazilian bureaucracy and the target audience to be served by the Military Units. The solution found was the development of a Specialist System with the use of a tool called Drools, which manages the business rules obtained in the requirements analysis phase. Its execution is feasible in the Java language, based on object-oriented programming, which provided the interface for system interaction with the user. The database uses the PostgreSQL tool to store the necessary information for the system and for the result. All the technologies are free. This set of tools analyzes the situation though the filling out by an analyst and chooses the necessary variables to apply to the members in each situation. The results are the segregated values within their categories and used by the analyst to make the financial collection that must be returned to the treasury. ; A informatização de processos é uma situação crescente em todas as áreas da sociedade.
