Ypsiloncyphon chlorizanoides sp. n. (Figs. 13 D, 17) Type material. Holotype (EUMJ): male, “(INDONESIA) Ciburum, alt. 1,600m Mt. Gede, Jawa Barat VII. 27. 1977 Shinji Nagai leg.”, genit. s. no. HY 382. Description. Male. Body (Fig. 13 D) oval, lightly convex dorsally, shining, covered closely with yellowishwhite setae throughout. Coloration of body almost entirely brown. Head moderate in size, slightly convex dorsally, granulate, with straight front margin of clypeus. Eyes large, prominent; the distance between eyes about 1.8 times as long as the maximum diameter of an eye. Pronotum finely punctate, rather strongly depressed in lateral parts; anterior and lateral margins straight; posterior margin gently arcuate; antero-lateral corners right-angled, slightly projecting anteriorly; postero-lateral corners obtuse; PW/PL 2.12. Elytra oblong, densely punctate; EL/EW 1.53; EL/PL 4.18; EW/PW 1.29; TL/EW 1.90. Sternite IX (Fig. 17 A) long, well sclerotized, U-shaped; lateral projections very long, serrate in apical 2/3, with a pair of long projections just before apices, pointed at apices. Penis (Fig. 17 B) moderately sclerotized, broken in proximal part; trigonium long, serrate in apical part; parameroids a little longer than trigonium, punctate densely in apical part, obtuse at apex. Female. Unknown. Measurements. Male (n = 1): TL 1.71 mm; PW 0.70 mm; PL 0.33 mm; EW 0.90 mm; EL 1.38 mm. Distribution. Indonesia (Java Isl.). Remarks. This species is related to Ypsiloncyphon chlorizans (Klausnitzer) and Y. reconditus (Klausnitzer) in the shapes of the sternite IX and penis, but differs from them in the following characteristics: 1) sternite IX serrate in apical 2/3, with a pair of long projections just before the apices, and 2) penis serrate in apical part of trigonium. Etymology.
