A new model for water evaporation from solute-containing aerosol droplets is presented to investigate the effects of solutes on the droplet evaporation time. The Python scripts include two simple examples for the numerical approaches used in the calculation of the droplet evaporation time in the presence of internal concertation and diffusivity profiles. Detailed calculations and results are presented in the paper “water evaporation from solute-containing aerosol droplets: effects of internal concentration and diffusivity profiles, and onset of crust formation” and its supporting information.
