Treffer: Project management in IT with LeSS Scrum methodology.

The purpose of this article is to present how the LeSS Scrum methodology is applied in project management of large IT organisations and to compare its theoretical assumptions with its practical interpretation. The article is concerned with the analysis and interpretation of the results of a mixed-methods study conducted with a parallel strategy in IT organisations using the LeSS. Qualitative research used participant observation and structured face-to-face interviews to compare the practical implementation of the LeSS with the literature assumptions. Quantitative research conducted by means of a survey method, helped to investigate the structure of teams working in this methodology, to assess the degree to which Scrum principles are used in their daily work and to identify the biggest challenges.
