The study of the elongation of rods under the simultaneous influence of a tensile load and also compression of a rod of limited length, pinched at two ends under the influence of a temperature field and heat flow, is of great interest for technology and technological processes. The paper discusses the development of a universal computational algorithm for the steady-state problem of thermal conductivity and thermoelastic state of partially thermally insulated rods of limited length, subject to the influence of temperature, heat flow, heat exchange and axial force. A universal computational algorithm has been developed based on minimizing the functional of total thermal energy based on nodal values of temperature; a temperature distribution field and a functional of the potential energy of thermoelastic deformation of a rod based on nodal values of displacement have been constructed. Based on them, the field of deformation and stress is constructed. The developed universal computational algorithm and a set of application programs in the object-oriented programming language Delphi make it possible to take into account all the factors acting on the rod in question, i.e. axial force of temperature, heat flow, heat transfer and partial thermal insulation.
