The article presents a study regarding the sensitivity of cross-country economic growth regressions to data source. It says that measurement of economic growth rates in real per capita income vary depending on the data source. The study uses three interrelated data sets which are the International Monetary Fund's (IMF)'s International Financial Statistics (IFS), the Penn World Tables (PWT), and the World Bank's World Development Indicators for economic research. Results show that an increase in a country's income equality level has a significant positive relationship with subsequent with subsequent economic growth.
